CHALLENGE

In international logistics, planning is not just placing cargo in a vehicle. Volumetric placement, weight distribution, axle loads, trailer balance, country regulations, route selection, document management and carbon reporting must all be considered at once.

These processes are mostly run with manual calculations, Excel files and experience-based decisions; the result is faulty load distribution, regulatory non-compliance, border delays, unnecessary route costs and missing carbon data.

SOLUTION

The system unifies load planning, regulatory checks, route optimization and carbon calculation on a single platform. Loads are evaluated by weight, volume, dimensions, priority and fragility, and the optimal in-trailer placement is generated in 3D.

On the route side, transit countries, road rules, alternative routes and emission impact are analyzed together; teams evaluate not only the shortest option but also the compliant, low-carbon one.

01Single Decision Screen
The 3D loading plan, in-trailer weight distribution, front/rear axle loads, country regulations, route alternatives, per-route CO₂ and document steps merge on one screen. Planning turns from manual checks into a measurable decision mechanism.
023D Loading & Balance Control
Loads are positioned in three dimensions inside the trailer; heavy, medium and light categories are balanced. Beyond volume, the center of gravity, axle loads, load classes and unloading order are all taken into account.
03Regulation-Compliant Route Planning
Every country on the route has different road rules and weight limits. The system evaluates the load and route plan together for all countries on the route (e.g. DE/AT/CH/IT), reducing border-crossing and roadside-inspection risks.
04Carbon Emission Calculation
CO₂ is calculated per route from distance, transport type, load state and itinerary. Route selection weighs environmental impact alongside time and cost, supporting low-carbon logistics and customer reporting.
05Document & Operations Automation
Load data, route, country transits and regulatory requirements are evaluated together to support preparing CMR, packing list, customs and carbon documents; delays from missing documents and manual checking effort decrease.
